實用英語電話對答

電話是日常工作中最重要的溝通工具，遇著講英語的人打電話來，也要有禮貌回應。

 

Hello. May I speak to Miss Mary Lee？
Yes， speaking.
This is Mary. / This is me.

 

麻煩你等一等，應該話：

 

One moment please.
Please hold on.
Hold the line， please.
I'll get him.
Let me see if he is here.

 

如果對方要找的人不在，可以說：

 

Sorry， he is not at his desk.
He is not around.
Sorry， he is busy right now.
Sorry， he is out.
Sorry， he is at a meeting.

 

如果對方要找的人正在講電話，可以答：

 

Sorry， he is on another line.
Sorry， he is on the phone.
Would you like to leave a message？
Would you mind waiting for a while？
I'll put you on hold.

 

如果你正在講電話，剛巧有另一個電話打進來，可以講：

 

Hold the line please. I have another call coming in.
I'm sorry， I've got another call. Please just wait a second.
